Do we both need the app?
Yes. BWYA works between two iPhones that paired in person. Send your friend the link from the app's Invite a friend button.

Why does BWYA ask for Always and Precise location?
So your friend can still find you while your phone is locked in your pocket. An approximate location is too far off to find anyone in a crowd. Sharing only lasts the hours you pick, and either of you can stop.

There's distance but no arrow.
Direction up close needs ultra wideband and line of sight. Hold the phone up and turn slowly; far away, use the map.

How do I stop sharing?
Tap Stop sharing on the finder. Sharing also ends on its own at the time you picked.

How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Our server only ever holds encrypted data, and drops a session as soon as it ends, or 25 hours after it started at the latest. If you emailed us logs, ask and we'll delete them.

Sending us logs
On the pair screen or the finder, tap Send logs. It opens an email with the app's technical log attached; nothing is sent unless you send it.
