BWYA

Terms of Use

Last updated October 17, 2026

These terms are between you and Rostyslav Dzhohola (“we”, “us”), who makes BWYA. By using the BWYA app or this website you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data BWYA handles. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app as well; if the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins for the app.

Not an emergency or safety service

BWYA's direction and distance come from radios, sensors and locations that can be wrong, late or unavailable, for example with no signal, a flat battery, location or notifications turned off, or a phone that doesn't support it. Don't rely on BWYA when someone's safety is at stake. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Use it with consent

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms, and have an iPhone BWYA supports.

Price

BWYA is free. If we add paid features later, we'll show the price before you pay, and anything you buy will come with its own terms.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them to improve BWYA without owing you anything. We won't publish a quote of yours without asking first.

Ours and yours

The BWYA name, its mark, the app and this website belong to us. You can use the app for yourself, as these terms allow.

No guarantees

To the extent the law allows, BWYA is provided as is and as available, without promises that it will always work, find your friend, or be accurate. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using or being unable to use BWYA, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for it, which is nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.

Stopping

You can stop using BWYA any time by deleting it. We may stop offering BWYA, or stop someone using it who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using BWYA after that, the new terms apply.
